i'm taking my scion to do a dyno session to give a baseline with this as an add on. Its T-304 with some really really nice welds. I'll do a sound clip as well. should have it within 2 weeks tops if not sooner. I just received it a few hours ago. The owner of the company moved on from one of the top companies out "DC Sports" He was the GM for them and started his own company STRUP. Nice stuff...VERY...i'll keep people posted.

i don't know...lol. i'm at work and i don't think i can blow hard enough to get it to make noises!. I might toss it on to take it for a ride and hear it though..if i do..i'll clip it. I'm setting up the dyno session now and it would be more of a pain in the butt to put in on when i need to do a baseline to start with...but it looks real damn nice and i'm too curious later i'll post a pick of the inside baffling.

since it is in the testing faze you should express the intrest in a true cat back rather than another axleback. i really htink it looks cool kinda like my dc sports exhaust.

Please let us know what your first impressions are once it is installed and the engine is fired up.

It sounds nice.

I must say that this is a quality piece, first impressions of how it hangs...its got that cool tilt and angled look, similar to jic rocket exhaust, rs*r, invidia..etc..
the welds are real clean, TIG welded, as Jeff stated. Fitment is clean, doesnt hit the bumper or anything part of the subframe.

Exhaust note is great, low growl and throaty...at 60 to 75mph, during cruising, exhaust note dissapates, very quiet, but when you floor it, the exhaust sings til redline....
this is one quality piece, and am very happy with the product....more people should be rockin this exhaust...will post pics as soon as i can

might wanna ask Lip for those...just got it a week ago...but according to my seat-off-the-pants dyno, much easier for the car to reach redline, obviously frees up restriction, throttle response is improved....ive driven xb's with stock, trd and magnaflow...i like this one..but thats my personal oppinion...im not associated with sturp either..just an end user voicing my oppinion...I like it..

Hmm, that system tucks up in the car quite nicely.

it hangs a bit low but honestly if you have a can that pretty might as well show it off or why have a pretty can?

Also..if you take note the lowest part of the exhaust is very close to the back side of the rear wheel. so unless your backing up a driveway it more then likely wouldn't touch. Not easily that is.

install is cake, check out the tech section and all the directions are there...only took me 20mins to do, but should take the first timer about an hour..just as long as ya can read and follow directions..all in all...very nice product..

i wonder how well it would do once dumped.

like lip said, lowest part of the can is almost near the centerline of the axle, so it shouldnt be a problem..i havent had any issues with it so far..if ya dump your ride and put big rims...again...unless your backing in to a space....and run into a parking block or something, you shouldnt have any issues..

papal takes visa. run through the orderform(purchase) and you'll see. You can pay by visa on the site or even through paypals site if you have an account. Either way Visa works.

do a contact us at the bottom of the page and my partner Dave will reply as soon as possible if you get stuck. pretty much just register with our site (one time only thing) and make the purchase. fairly painless. near redline indicated without bumping off the rev limit. remember its not underload without the engine pulling the car. but again...its deeper tone and disapates in 5th gear highway speeds.

its closer to the bottom. would precision tap that out? dhl wasn't gentle for that to happen. thats a long drop for that. tell me what you want to do about it. if you tap it out with a rubber hard mallet it will probably straighten out to where its not noticable. i feel bad for what dhl did. how about the box...what does it look like at the end the tip was at

yeah the box was beat as well ....the box had cut on it were the tip stuck out..it's kool i had precision tap it as much as he could...sounds great i love it....im gonna have to get the header soon as well...just got to save some cash up then ill be giving you guys a call.....i dont want anything ,just make sure thay wrap it better for the other customer's...bump for a great muffler... :bow: :bow: :bow:

anyone know the HP gains and sound difference between this and the greddy evo2? i have a friend that works for greddy i can get one for 260 but if this sounds better and gives more gain then ill buy this since they are around the same price. thanks in advance!

http://strup.us they have a sound clip there....I have listened to it many times. The Evo 2 is super quiet. Almost so quiet you cant tell you have exhaust. My buddy has it and its just super quiet. It looks great but the Strup was more for me personally.

i'm very impressed with the strups tone. As far as performance?

couple things...i've stated it before...lets be honest with ourselves...the scion xb is NOT fast. It handles very well and the short gearing does get it up to speed in a reasonably short time. The strup pieces are very well built. quality is excellent..fit and finish great. Tone wonderful. Performance? some pickup, noticable top end improvment. throttle response a bit better as well. I'm still going to dyno tune the Strup header and exhaust(first baseline then header dyno then exhaust added dyno) But lets say we gain 8-12whp. You still are going to see the throttle response...a bit more pickup for sure and top end improvement but its never going to scream power with HP but it'll sound great thinking it has it. :-)

purchase for quality, fit, finish, sound, customer service and price. Unless your doing an extreme buildup its not going to be a v8 killer. That short list i just gave is everything the Strup is.

I'm going to have some news on the strup header and exhaust in the next day or so. great news.
