hey guys im thinking about getting leather seats for my car ( Katzkin) but before i decide to get them , how much does installation of something like this cost? Anyone know any good shops in NYC? thanks

 

not sure on the costs but i just installed some clazzio covers which are similar to the katzkins. it's something you can do yourself if you have some time.

 

i dont think i would take the chance doing it my self lol...and i heard it takes a while

are you talking about entirely new seats? If so that wont be to hard, just have to keep your tracks and put them on the new seats.

If your talking about slip on covers, they arent to hard either, most fit really tight so you might leave em outside where its warm (or inside)

and if your talking about getting your stock seats redone id take em somewhere.

Installation of seats is pretty easy if you don't have to cut anything. Most should bolt in pretty easily.

As for getting them redone. I'd take elsewhere too. Especially if you have side airbags, don't want to screw those up.

 

the katskin set you have to take the stock fabric off, the clazzco seats you just slip them right over stock, and new seats well 4 bolts under the seats take them out put the sliders on the new seats and bolt them back on.

Also, it's actually five bolts per seat to take 'em out (who cares).
