OK finally got my bypass valve tonight but anyways i got the wrong size. i got one that is 2.5" because i measured my CAI tube and it said 2.5" so my question is do i need to get one that is 2.75" or 3" for it to fit thanks


OH yeah anyone need to buy a AEM 2.5" bypass valve i got one for sell

 

So the valve is too small?

Did you try heating it up with a hair dryer so it's more flexible and easier to work with.

 

i took the rubber piece out stretched that over the pipe and then tried to fit the other part over but nope wont fit i just think i need a bigger one. just dont know if i need a 2.75" or 3"
so if anyone knows then help and thanks

 

I don't know what size it is off hand, but I know I had to work to get mine on as well...btw you can quote me on that

yeah heat it up a bit and it should stretch enough to go on.........unless they sent the wrong size to you........I will measure when I get there.........I got a few extra pieces left from my Weapon R I will bringthey should be able to adept and replace what you have .......BZ

 

i can take out the rubber part that goes over the tube it is the plastic cone thing that goes over the rubber part in which the clamps tighten on i think i should have gotten a bigger size.

 

I got a few differant sizes left over from my intake...........remind me friday night so I dont forget...........
