1. Do they weaken the suspension more overtime?

2. Racing Safe? As in Auto X?

no not on stockers. i got some +49 et wheels. i kno i kno...its bad but can u blame me?
just take a look

davedavetC
01-24-2008, 04:06 PM
yea but that will give that wheel a +29 offset, thats still kinda low. are your fenders rolled? and will you be running camber?

i would get 15s for the rear instead, just to be safe, and 10s in the front :P just like me! haha but idk if i need them, the wheels im gettin in a couple months have a +35 offset. these would be just for stock, and each time i replaced them i would need to change the studs....

05FMtC
01-24-2008, 04:12 PM
yeah i got a ____ load of camber in the rear. right now i got et38 wheels with the same width as my new ones, and with the car dropped, i can still fit a finger in between the fender and the tire. and for the front. i have a 5mm spacer on a et 38 which makes it 33 and i do not rub. so with a 15mm in the front, ill be at 34 which is 1 mm less then now. so ya ill be fine. and if i have to i can run negative camber w/ my camber plates.

davedavetC
01-24-2008, 04:14 PM
yea but if you do that you're going to chew through tires plus your handling will decrease, and you will put too much stress on the rear suspension. i would play it safe and if you want 15 in the front i would do 15 in the rear too. thats just my 2 cents, im currently running maybe 1.5 degrees of neg camber in the rear and i think thats too much.

05FMtC
01-24-2008, 11:33 PM
yea i feel u on the tires. but low profile tires wear out very fast neways. and i will mostlikley get some that will let me rotate them alot. i dont mind rotating them every 2k miles. its that slammed look that im goin for. as far as the longer studs go, just get some open ended lugs and ull be fine, thats what i plan on doing.

wats the best for stock wheels to be flush? I know the back must be like +5 more than the front. maybe 10 front and 15 rear?

15mm in the rear and 10mm in the front.

In terms of strentch compared to the stock ones, what is the difference ? I need something that is extremely stronger and can take heat/stress of the track. Spacers/extended studs dont really make a diff to me. Just want something stronger.

sounsd good, not exactly sure if I need spacers even though ? are they just to compensate negative offset wheels correct ? so like if I has a 35mm wheel and i got the 5mm spacers it would be sitting at 40mm ??

ExpresScion
04-01-2008, 08:45 PM
No, you will be at 30mm. It will cause your wheel to stick out 5mm more. kanundrum, YGPM.

kanundrum
04-01-2008, 08:51 PM
OOOO crapo! so it would be antiprogress for me. I have 38mm wheel offset right now so I def wouldnt need them to be 33. Basically I will be adding 235 tires to my 38MM rim so not exactly sure what I would need so that I dont rub while im taking sharp turns with an agressive camber setup

Hey 1fastscion...........

My wheels are 18 x 7 with a 40 offset wrapped in nexxon 225/40R18 tires do u think 15mm in the front and 20mm in the rear would be safe without having to roll the fenders I am also on TRD springs? I measured the gap between the wheel and the fender and in the front its about 1/2 an inch and the rear is about 1 inch. Has there been any problems with vibration and the steering wheel shaking at high speeds? Do these wheel spacers work with any aftermarket wheels?

Thank you.....any imput would be greatly appreciated

1fastscion
04-24-2008, 06:15 PM
There are NO vibration or shaking at high speeds and of course these are compatible with aftermarket wheels.

With an 18X7, you should be fine with that setup. However, I cannot guarantee it.

so the 25mm will not need extended studs, right? I just use the provided bolts to bolt down onto the hub, then essentially the rim to the spacer?

pm price as well please.

purchasing these soon, but whats the difference in version I to II? no bolt on to bolt on? on version II, we dont need to get longer bolts correct? there is no 10mm in version II? the toyota celica has the same wheel pattern as us and they have a 10mm in version II? would it be possible to purchase them?

1fastscion
06-02-2009, 02:45 AM
The version 1 is not bolt on and the Version 2 is bolt on. You do not need to buy wheel studs as the version 2;s come with new ones. As for the celica i am unsure if it will work but from what you say it sounds like it might.

IN STOCK BUMP!!!!!

What is the difference between this...

http://www.fastscions.com/Ichiba-25mm-Bolt-On-Wheel-Spacers-Version-II.aspx

and this...

http://www.fastscions.com/Ichiba-25mm-Wheel-Spacers-Scion.aspx

I know it says bolt on... but can you explain?

Also, is 25mm the biggest you have? Can you get to 17112 before this coming Saturday (8/8)
