VSS Wire for Navigation System

VSS Wire for Navigation System
I need help identifying the VSS (Variable Speed Sensing) wire in order to complete the installation of my Navi System. I got these schematics for an xB2 from a friend at a dealership, but he as I, don’t know how to read them correctly! The instructions tell us to engage the splicing connector of the SPD signal wire (Violet / White): looking at the schematic, we think they are talking about the wire from A37 on VSS1 to the box plug 11 on VSS2

Can someone with some knowledge of this confirm this for us please!

Dude, re-read your instructions. Page 8 http://www.trdsparks.com/install/08545-00930inst.pdf
"NOTE: It is not necessary to connect the SPD
signal wire (Violet / White) from the
wire harness."
the only reason you are putting the splice commector on the end of the provided violet/white wite is a cheesy way of insulating it
"(l) Bundle any excess wire harness and antenna
cord.
(1) Bundle the wire harness and antenna cord
and fix them to the air conditioning unit
shown in the illustration with wire tie and
foam tape. (Fig. 3-1.
NOTE: Engage the splicing connector of the
SPD signal wire (Violet / White).
NOTE: Bundle the SPD signal wire (Violet
/ White) from the wire harness
with other cords"
You're just tucking it away

The speed sense wire is purple in the radio harness. It is there because the premium head units automatically lower the volume when you slow down, making it necessary to monitor the vehicle's speed.

Hella Thanks! Before I made the post, I got an estimate from a car stereo company here in Vegas and this fool wanted 100 bucks! And he said it with a straight face! Thing is, I already installed the HU myself and all I needed was this one wire identified at the kickpanel box!
