I bought a Scion TC back in 2006. And after working ridiculous hours and months of traveling for two years, Im finally back in Pasadena CA. Now, I want to do certain things to my TC. But need the knowledge of those who have been doing this for a while.
1. I want to get my car painted, the same color, flint metallic gray, just to fix some of the annoying rock chips. Anyone else notice the cheap paint on this car. Can anyone recommend a trustworthy decent auto painter.
2. I want some Halo lights. Yes I know about the online stores, but I want to see them, and hold them and purchase them froma store front.
3. Im considering putting TRD supercharger. Whats the best deal anyone has got from a southern california dealer.
4. I have the stock rims, and as fate would have it, my daughter, driving my car the first time, rubs the curb. Scratching my rims. Is it better to have them repaired, or just buy new ones.

Any answers would be appreciated.

Thanks

are you mechanically inclined and a little adventurous? if so i suggest doing yourself a big favor and stay away from those crap "halo" head lights from ebay and get angel/demon eyes from umnitza (http://www.umnitza.com/product_info.php?products_id=1115) or Oznium (http://www.oznium.com/tc-angel-eye) they use a cold cathode tube for the light ring instead of a bent piece of plastic and an LED, much bighter, i've had them for 2+ years and love them, always a hit at meets.

thanks for all the replies. But one thing that hasnt been answered is about the paint.
What is a good reputable autobody shop, in pasadena CA that can handle the painting and the minor body work. When I say minor body work I mean, removing two door dings, and doing some minor fixes to the rear bumper, and repainting and removing pits from the front bumper, and getting rid of the rock chips.

Marco's Auto Body in Pasadena, on Fair Oaks.
One of the best in the country, but not cheap.
They did my daughter's 2007 Altima which is pearl white and it looked like factory paint.
I was really impressed.
See them HERE (http://www.marcosautobody.com/map_pasadena.html)

Oh, welcome back to Pasadena!

ssuperstore.com They are located in Walnut. You can hold anything you want and George will give you a deal if you pay cash. I don't waste my time anywhere else. And he usually has everything in stock.

Filipino hook-up...the only filipino hook-up anywhere in that area is at DJ Bibingkahan or Pinoy-Pinay when they give you sabaw with your meal. Terrence(autohaus) will hook up anybody as long as they come back. He usually does'nt have Scion stuff in stock. I could be wrong. If anybody needs a kit just ask supastarBB...Ross. He's got a million of them.
