Default Pics K Sport paired with Hotchkis

Here is a pic of my rear suspension and the hotchkis rear bar. I will get in there and take some of the front. I should have done it yesterday at the show.

OK, I have to ask, what are you using to adjust your springs up and down? Is there a similar device for the front also? I drive a lot of bad roads and need to get a little more clearance. The 5.1" just isn't enough. I'm going to install taller tires when mine wear out but would still like to raise my car about 1".

The K sports are adjustable coil overs. You use to spanner wrenches to adjust it.

I was just on the k sport web site and did not see anything like what you have. I know what coil overs are but those don't look like coil overs at all. They look like someone took the coil over adjusting perch & lock and adapted it to work with just the springs.

yeah my rear wheels will hit. They already do as it is now. I might go to a none staggered set up and run it hammered like I did my tC. I am about in the middle of the adjustment.

The site is up and running now Cory. Some of the prices need to be adjusted but it is up and running now.

On cars with torsion beam rear suspensions the coilovers are usually like that. The fronts are normal style coilovers, like I think you're referring to. The rears use the separate shock and spring w/ adjuster. I know for sure that MKIV chassis VW's coilovers are like that in the rear.

OK, I understand now. Any thoughts on how I can raise my xB2 about 1" all the way around without spending a fortune? I don't want to go too tall on my new tires because I don't want to change the overall gearing too much. If their was an easy way to just shim the springs that amount I think that would do it.

You can use spring spacers that they sell at like autozone. You put it between 2 of the coils and adjust it that way. I dont think they are the best thing out there, but it will work.
