Read any good detailing manuals lately? I used to detail on the side professionally, but there are some things I still can't do... Like fix painted rims. Anyone know of any resources for this?

Zaino is far and away the best product on the market. It is worth every penny. I would recomend going to www.zainobros.com and check it out. I use it on my xB and I am getting a tC next spring and will use it on that as well.

ever tried s100 carnauba wax?

I have started using newspapers to clean the glass. It works the same if not better than paper towels. This "hint" was on the glass cleaner.

As for painted rims, I believe they have a section on chip/scratch repair that will work on your rims. I've repaired small chips on my wife's rims that came out pretty good.

Rim repair is becoming pretty common and there are some companies that do some fantastic work on curbed rims we use a local company to repair rims on our pre-owned cars and they do great work . Check with your local dealership or used car lot they know who in your area is doing repairs most of these companies will come to you for the repair and charge pretty reasonable prices .

p21s is the same EXACT stuff as s100. it is excellent because of its ease of use and price. i picked my wax and polish from the local harley store. the bottles are exactly the same, except they say s100 instead of p21s. i'll get some pics of my nice little collection of cleaning supplies when i get home from work.
