Default Headlight Dust Problem

I just put a pair of stock headlights back in, and silverstars. They are extremely bright but it seems there is what looks like dust on the inside of the lens. One was stored (in the direction it sits in the car) but there were no bulbs in the housing. So did the dust sneak in? A vacuum wont fit in.

Any suggestions?

i'd try one of those dust off thingies. stick the thing in there deep and it should blow out. Airs got no where to go but out the hole. hopefully it'll carry the dust with it on the way out.

I think its more like 200-210? But for like 9-11 minutes. I have read how to bake, but im trying to avoid having to pull the bumper and the lights out again.
It was 26 degrees today! (we worked in an unheated garage)
ant 16 degrees yesterday...

I thought of air thats a good bet, wonder if there is any vaccum that small?

Btw in your post ^^ it says 250, if you put it at 350 it may melt the lens.....you may want to edit that in case someone tries it...

i dunno if theres any vacum that small but you can always try just haviing the hose cover up the hole and just letting the vacum rip to see if it will suck out the dust. on another note, i thought it was funny scgon took up 4 posts to tell you how to bake your headlights and put them back together

what you could also try. major long shot but worth a try, get something small, short garden hose etc. Duct tape it to the end of the vacuum creating a seal. and use the garden hose inside of the headlight. Should work. could also try a straw but that'd be hard to duct tape. Plus vacuum might suck it in.

use one of those canned air things people use on the keyboards..make sure you dont shake it or spray it upside down though. but it might blast the dust out....

you could always try an air compressor and try to blow the dust out. that would probably work better than a vacuum.

its up to you but i have used rubbing alcohol in them before. Pour it in and swish it around, pour it out. then you can sit there with a hair dryer on LOW HEAT to dry it out. And stay away from sparks or flame and make sure it doesnt get too hot. if it ignites you'll probably lose some skin.

I was worried about the same thing happening to my stockers, so I stored them with a towel placed over the top. They sat like that for 3 months and no dust got inside.
