Default Hood scoops for xB?

Does anyone know how many hoods with scoops their are for the xB?

I've seen a couple in the past....to long ago to remeber what they are.

If anyone knows what's out there, please inform me.

And yes.....I tried a search.......maybe I suck at it.......but my personal opinion is that the search sucks.

The Audioforms piece is extra sweet. You need to see that one in person. Quality is top notch!

Someone here made a really sweet one himself from a Celica scoop. I suspect a nice one could be done with a 4Runner scoop, too.

But that doesn't solve the problem, KingLou, if you're looking to buy something off the shelf.

I am not sure what the point of doing it would be. Would it help the engine? :?:

In the case of this car it would only be for looks even if it was made to be "functional". The purpose of a scoop is to creat a ram air affect. A properly designed scoop could get you ~1psi of boost at speed. When I say at speed I mean >80mph. Even then on this engine that would equate to 1 maybe 2 hp in all reality. I never cared for fake scoops. It makes the car look tacky. Even worse are the cars that don't need them at all.

Not everything you get on your car has to be functional. Most mods people do are cosmetic. What about the most common mod, rims? Most people get large diameter/heavy rims that don't do squat to 'help' the car. I'm all for the scoop. I think it looks nice as long as its small/tastefully petite. No STi scoops please Go for it! I want one that's about 6"x1.5" or so and offset to the pasenger side.

At least offset it to the driver's side so it would be near the airbox...

I didn't mean to start a flame war or anything. I don't really care what other people do/think with regard to cars anyway.
