Default Any1 got stock LCD headrests? Can you tap them for Video?

I have the stock LCD headrests and my installer is trying to tap into them while he is installing my Pioneer Avic D3. He says there is no input or outputs on them?! All he sees in the front Aux input, but nothing underneath the seats to tap into.

Is this possible? BTW, Bing from Simplicity Sound is not a newb to all this, so I am pretty sure he's checked and double checked. I tried calling the dealer, but they don't know either.

D unit.

some sets do not allow independant play for like the head unit. you might have to put in a control box under the seat or find out if they wired the control unit inside the lower part of the consol.

i beleive the ones dealerships put on the rear seats do not allow you to play from head unit to LCD screens. the ones i am planing on getting way down the road are vizualogic. but i think even with these ones you might have to change the converter box to make it sync with the head unit

Thanks guys... I guess it's not really possible using the stock LCD headrest. Anyways, Bing is doing the install as we speak. I'm sure my car is in good hands.... He said it should be done this Thursday or so.... We'll see, but I'm in no rush.

yeah, basically looks like these are tailored made to fir the xb, i traced all the wires, they either go to the screen, to power/ground, to each other via mini style plugs, or end in plastic conectors...not a signle rca style jack in site...bleh ;)

but those jacks are already go to each other. if there was an empty jack i would be able to use those kinds of plugs but the only mini jack i found were directly link one monitor to another. that this means it aht even if i Y split it using a minijack to rca Y splitter, i have no control over how the signal goes into that particular monitor. When you hook up monitors, you want to hook up one source to one input, without a a/v switcher, hooking up multiple sources to a sginel input is not a good idea plus thowere were completely unlabled and looking at the pdf manual, its hard to tell what they were.
