there is a guy selling the above mentioned turbo kit for $1500. The kit is for an 05-06. What do i i need to make it work for an 08. And is it worth the price

 

You would need a different maf sensor plug welded into your intake pipe, and even then it may not work.
Also, considering that the kit NEW was like, what, $1800? I'd say that's a TERRIBLE deal. And the kits are kinda hit or miss. Some had great luck while other had terrible luck with manifolds cracking and whatnot.

TurboToyotas has a more complete "Basik" kit for a little less then double that price and Dezod has a comlete kit for a little more.

i am getting a Turbo Toyotas Basik kit so i feel what meaty meant by getting a kit that is a little more than that but is much much safer.

 

stage zero was 2200. i had it and loved it

 

Eh...$700 off for a used turbo kit with no IC or BOV? I think you'd be better off with a NEW kit from TT or Dezod. Just my $.02

 

oh my kit had BOV, emanage and injectors but no I.C.

 

thanks for the advice. I have had my eye on that turbo toyotas basic kit for a little while. ill Probably end up with it just getting a little impatient saving my funds.

 

An emanage would be for sure and to help the install go super easy and not have to cut into the cars wires you should pick up a plug and play harness. Oh, what do we have in my signature here? Why it's a link for a emanage and plug and play harness for sale.
