yea, bear frame is great. i even had my springs done there on my other car, theyre really fast but sometimes they get packed.

if youre planning on keeping your car for a long time, consider a lifetime alignment at discount tires. its about 160-180, but after the first 4 alignments or so, you already get what you pay for

Dude there are still so many amazing gem's still un-mentioned...

For any engine or suspension work I'd contact Aerodyne Industries in OC.... they run every weekend on the tracks which gives them real world experience. It's an amazing little garage tucked away in a hidden spot, makes doing mechanical work a savings for owners. Talk to Quin, she's such a helpful and nice person.

Mag Masters as mentioned above is great for powdercoating and any wheel repairs, cheap rates and delivers as promised. They'll lag on you if you dont stay on top of them but really its a matter of a few days, nothing too bad.

how much would it cost me to get my fenders rolled?

Anyone know of a good shop around the Clairemont area to install/remove a turbo kit on a tC? I moved here under a year ago and need to find myself a good shop to take care of my installs. I also need to hit the dyno to get myself retuned and don't really feel like hiking all the way up to Church's if I don't have to; anyone know a good local tuner?

most places that tune, don't do exhaust installs...first find your local muffler shop and they will install ur exhaust must cheaper than a tuner shop will, then find a place that tunes...depending on which exhaust u get, you shouldn't need to tune it really with ur setup

WOW i just found i place for tuneing, dyno and they even sell and install performance parts and Custom Fabrication, they've been in buisness for years call for more info just let them know that Carlos master tech over at west covina reffered you....they'll give you a deal , dyno $100 for 4 pulls 2wd and $125 for awd or $200- $250 an hour respectivly... every other place is around $350 - $400

Both do amazing work and at really really affordable prices. Both shops have built reputable cars to back up their work, I've had luck at both. I recently started going to Import Auto Pros since Aerodyne's main mechanic "Andy" has been in Japan helping some companies for the past 2 months.... but when he's in... he's a gem!

EDIT: just wanted to mention.... both these shops do top notch custom fab stuff as well as all types of test and tune. They all grind out cars that compete as well as high HP stuff.... Andy is great at tuning.... I can't speak for Import Auto Pros tuning abilities but they crank out so many high HP Honda's that I'm sure they've got some skills behind them.

question guys, would it be advisable to get a custom piping; 3inch big, for my 2006 xb.. im hearing that by doing so ill lose performance.. true or false? thanks guys..

^that's true unless your boosted but then it'd probably be like 2.75 tops on the xB, if your n/a then stick to 2.25" and you'll be fine.

i went to Sonic Motor in Baldwin Park. They only sell parts, they do not install or fix anything. They mainly specialize in Megan Racing parts. They have a lot of racing seats. Good deals on HIDs. Nice people.

can anyone recommend a good audio installer? im located in los angeles. got quotes of 150-200 but i want a installer that have experience with scions. i want a Pioneer Z120BT indash navi installed on a 2010 scion tc.

you got quotes of 150-200 just for installation or including the parts too? there's an audio place in alhambra right across the street from the wonderies dealership. streets are main st. and i think electric. if it's not too hard, try DIY.

i live in an apt with no lighting in the garage. i done couple navi installs before but i need a house garage or a decent work environment. im picking up the indash from the warehouse of online car stereo for 900. they should have all the install kits i need. still researching on what kit people are using. i called around asking questions so far a little iffy on some of the places here. they seem to be lost on the what type of navi or how i want it done. i tried searching on yelp so far i dont like some of the reviews im seeing and good shops are too far. im not sure what the going rate around here is. $100 an hour? it should be about a 2 hour job. thanks for the tip i'll check out that place you mention. since they are across from a dealer I assume they done some scion installs.

^buy the pnp harness and solder it to the new indash harness, then remove the oem radio and remove the brackets so you can drill them a little bit to push the radio back so the cover can close. putting the navi is easy and there is several places to mount the navi antenna as well, if your close to the san fernando valley or willing to drive out here then i can help you out. i wouldn't recommend doing that type of work at your apt building if you don't trust everyone there as some might see the unit and want it later on
