what would you all think of doing a Scion Caravan over to Hastings Ranch/Altadena area around 9 or so after the meet?

the people there all compete from block to block with different themes for Christmas lights and i thought it would be really cool to have a convoy of Scions snaking around through the neighborhoods checking out the lights and stuff! 8)

Looks like I won't be making this Saturdays meet. I'm forced to work the night shift being our new project has open to the public now. Were finishing some details on some attractions here so were forced to work after hours. Plus, there's some nice parade floats here for the Rose parade. :lol:

The SFV meet is a monthly meet where all of us can meet from area's such as the SFV, SCV, Simi Valley and any nearby cities. All are welcome to come.

actually to the meets I've been to... people just hang out and chill. Cops don't sweat. The last one I went to there was a cop in the parking lot to buy coffee and took off... and there were at least 20 cars hanging out at the time.

It's a lot of fun to meet with the others... just come up and introduce yourself. :P

SCV comes rain or shine and we just talk about our cars and mods to get new ideas to jack up our credit cards! Cops only sweat the people doing donuts or burn-outs. No one has ever been messed with in a scion there.

i've been trying to keep updated on this upcoming meet, hawever after reading everyone's posting all the information is mixed-up :doh: . some of us are mixing friday with 19th and likewise sat with the 18th.

It's right off the 5 fwy. Exit Burbank Ave and head west over the fwy. Take the first signal which I beleive is Victory Place. Make a right and it should be on your left hand side about a 1/2 mile down the road. Krispy Kream is right in front.

Theres wasn't as many as last time, I think it was like 5-7 cars there, yeah, something really interesting happened, there was these 2 punk kids who showed up on a 4 door Mercedes(not sure the model and year, prob. 2000 or higher) and ask if anybody wanted to race, at first we all thaught he was kidding, but he keeped asking, so he really anoid me and I said if he was sure he wanted to race and I pointed to my car and I asked again are you sure you want to race? and he said "yeah, but for money", so I said, "no prob. I'll take your money" he then said "I'll be right back" and he left, stup!t kids. I finally left cause it was cold and I was told by someone there that they showed up like 10 seconds after I had left, what a bunch of trouble makers.

I haven't had the chance to thank all of you that made it out to last weekends meet. With the rain, there were more people then I thought would have come.

Welcome, I believe its on the 18th of every month, hope to see you there next time, I'm not sure if I'll be there, since that the day of the Turbonetics show, I guess it will depend on what time I get out of there.

my suggestion is to PM these people in Northridge
tcLuis / whiteout / gwtc
get their ph#s before 5p and you should have plenty
of time to hook up w/ them in NORTH HILLS before rolling
out to Burbank. contact them immediately for Northridge

well the cops have only showed up there 1 or 2 times just cuz there are dumb asses burning out and rev ther engines. if anything it gets broken up past midnight if that, but we always head over to another meet (we bounce around). i arrive there around 10:30 and the parking lot is packed. so maybe get there earlier with everyone else. believe me its awsome

usually the cops are cool enough to actually get on the PA system and let us know
we can hang out BUT we need to police oursellves by kicking out the people that give

Family Fun has always been a spot known for import cars & kids that come with the scene.

it got broken up quick last week....10:30p and it was slim

another NRidge spot is Fresh Donuts off of Balboa / SanFernando Mission Rd and it's

its just a matter of time befo the screws tigthen things up around there. with the devonshire division on SW, and the new one ova in sepulveda/SF Misson on NE.

they've already crushed the one on devonshire/reseda, and devonshire/balboa SE. ralphs lot (they were poppin hoods there). and also in porter ranch best buys.

The Evo's show up on Thursday nights. Our meet is on Saturday nights.

As long as we don't race around, make loud noise and leave trash it's ok.
