Brian 2lowxb knows what to get for your box - PM him. I think he said that it would cost $800 if you do it yourself.

doing side to side is a waste of money unless to redo the whole rear suspension, the xb's rear end won't shift side to side it will just squat down

Airbagit.com has kits for the xB. But they're a lil pricey though.

...but with fbss..he has more control overall
trust he will regret just getting fb...
lines and fittings leak and thats when the independent control comes into play..
i have a bagged 98 tacoma ... and i know i would have gone crazy if i didn't have independent control of each corner.

i got a fullsize chevy with fbss, nitrogen the whole works. my box has f,b it handles fine no body roll. you don't need side to side on the back. when you hit it to the side the back will just squat unless you make the back independent

Default back bags

hey i wnna throw in my 2 cents, a buddy of mine has an xb that is bagged in the back only as of right now. just last night we were out cruisin and i told him to just let the air out of one bag, im not sure what you guys are saying by just squat down, but that side lowered why the other stayed high, looked as if it was performing how it should?

Having 4 valves in rear for independent control does make a diff.
It is not as noticable due to the straight axle will little articulation, but it is noticable.
The other thing about only using 2 valves in the rear is going around corners. The air from one bag will want to go to the other side when cornering.Lifting that side even more.If you cruised really slow I guess this wouldnt matter much.
When you get the front on and do side to side, the articulation will look greater.
You could use 4 valves to keep the air from rushing to the other side and not even wire switches to give you that motion.
Why is this even a question? Is it because 2 valves are cheaper than 4?
I dont get why you wouldnt set it up with 4 valves.I know a unibody is weak for side to side motion. But like I said before, just dont set it up to have that motion.

Do you have 2 valves per axle or 4?

exactly. i've done 90% of all work done on all 5 of my cars. i love it. at first i did it myself out of necessity . then outta love and pride and fun and now because of both. lol . i mean if you "make" a custom air kit and install it yourself and it workls and it's cheap? mad props will come from everyone and everywhere.
