the next mod i want to do is to upgrade my intake..
MAINLY to increase my mpg, but a little boost of hp wouldn't be so bad either.

i know there's a lot of threads discussing the different types of intakes..

but i didn't see one that addressed mpg increase, and i just wanted to know what your guys' personal experiences are with the different brand and types of intakes.

PS. i also considered just removing my snorkel but i wasn't too sure about that.

what you want is the injen IS2105 which will improve your mpg,

if you want to remove your snorkel, just take the one bolt out and and twist and pull at the base of the bottom part of the stock air box...

 

if i just remove the snorkel, without putting any other kind of filter, would that improve mpg?

and are there any cons in doing so?

 

I as well was rolling with the Injen, but i had the CAI. It worked freaking awesome i had no complaints what so ever. I still have it lying around im willing to sell it, if anybody wants it.

I bought it for $250.00 new, it need a new filter, but the rest of it is all good. If you need pictures just let me know. Im going to polish it up and make it looks pretty again. PM me if your interested.
