aside from getting rid of body roll... do these affect the roughness of the ride very much? or just make your car stay flatter on the road in the corners?

I had the TRD swaybar with stock struts/springs i actually didnt feel a difference and mine was set on race (stiffer setting). Hotchkis are a bit thicker but Im sure you wont feel it too much, if anything EDIT: it also depends on your tolerance. davedavetC 01-28-2008, 12:38 AM you will notice it big time, i have H&R coilovers, and i installed the H&R sway afterwards and it made it a little more stiff, but when you upgrade the front and the rear it will be a lot stiffer and you will notice a big improvement in handling, and if you think you cant drop your car, maybe you should look into the TRD spring/shock combo, a mild drop but increase in handling (big time), suspension upgrades are one of the most enjoyable upgrades i think makes driving the car a lot more fun. and theres nothing like taking an off ramp faster and smoother then you could stock :D FreedomOne 01-28-2008, 12:47 AM I'm looking forward to get TRD coil overs later this year. As for strut and sway bars, I don't own them but I believe that you would feel a difference at high speeds. That's just a guess. kungpaosamuraiii 01-28-2008, 05:38 AM BIG difference. My friend's car on Hotchki's sways only handle better than mine on TRD springs only. |
