Not sure where to post this but . . .
I have always hand washed my cars, but lately I have been too busy. I have been using the touchless laser car washes. They do a great job, but my question is do they damage the paint. Does anyone with paint knowledge know if that high powered spray of water will damage your paint over time (i.e. clear coat)? I always thought hand washing was better but maybe using the touchless and not actually scrubbing your paint is better. Just curious!

well i have been using a touchless car wash where i live and i never get scratches on my xB. the car wash has ads saying their wash wont hurt your car. so i dont have any bad experiences with it, ive just had probs hand washing mine (water dries too fast, water spots) hope that helps.

the spray doesn't harm the paint but rather the extremely aggresive soap they use.

I use one to, don't let the soap sit to long or don't let it dry up.
