To all those "others" who have mocked the XB they may be singing another tune. The news has been quite complimentary of the XB. 2 weeks ago in Life Magazine it was ranked as one of the "sexy" cars of 2005. Yesterday, Consumers ranked it as being the 4th most reliable car in 2005. Interestingly, 3 of the 5 were really Toyota( Lexus, Prius, Scion XB).

The Oct 04 consumer reports review of the xb is actually what influenced me to give the xb a close look. I don't make a whole lot of money, so non-biased report was great.

I got the xB from a mechanics point of view, thats always the best way to go. Forget the critics and ask your mechanic what works best for your everyday vehicle.

Not only did consumer reports sway my decision- but look at the great reliability of the ECHO, or Tercel...Even though the tercel was extremly flimsy, and the ECHO has some cheap spots (more than the xB)- they both have ran great mechanically!!
