okay the gas tank is full, so that being low on gas isn't the reason. i understand that the box was made to slalom, but it's fun. is this a common? i would think that there would be baffles built in to the tank to keep gas from starving the fuel pump when corning and such, or is it possible that they might have broke loose? i haven't noticed yet if it happens coming out of left and right turns, but it gets pretty annoying.

If your engine is dying during hard cornering it could be a number of things. Prolly not the fuel pump or gas starvation tho. There would still be plenty of fuel in the lines so the starvation if your reasoning was correct would occure long after you exited the corner. I'd have it checked out by a service tech.

Could it be the stability control kicking in? Still sounds like something is wrong or else others would be complaining.

Does it still do it when the Trac control is turned off?

i haven't tried it yet. my sidewalls are a little worn out right now. after i get some new tires this weekend, i'm gonna do a few tests to try and narrow it all down to something.
