Default Anybody know some tricks to removing scratches on dash?

I'm reallly beginning to not like the material Scion uses on our dashes. I am getting scratches/gouges all over. They are not real deep, but they also do not come out with a damp cloth. Any ideas?

There is a cool trick that is mentioned in this post:
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...scratches+dash

It's down a few posts and involves heating up the scratched surface and pressing some textured material into the scrach.

thanks!! I'll give that a try.

BTW....that was much more helpful than the previous post.

It looks like other people have the same problem in the same areas (around the ignition cylinder, on the face of the glove box, etc.)

I have some nice ones on my glove box and, even worse, on the silver part around the shifter and a big gouge in the silver part on the right side of the steering wheel. Who knew getting in the car w/ a 12x12" piece of acrylic would be so dangerous

The face of my glove box looks like it was attacked by a spike strip. My wife claims it happens when she has objects on the seat and slams on the brakes.

And I agree that Cory's being a jerk.
