Default My supercharger install is done.

My installation is finally done and everything looks and runs good except i have not had a chance to really floor it because it has been raining non stop. Im sure this has already been asked, but what have most of you ran quarter mile in your tc with only a supercharger no other mods?

You should be running in the area of 15.0-15.2 just bolting the S/C on and doing nothing else.

the best way is to run a 1/4 or 1/8 and find out! decent timeslips need good reaction time at the trees so get practicing on your launches!

WAIT!!!!!! Before flooring anything you better BREAK-IN you motor by taking it easy for at Least 500 miles! If you just go to flooring it you might blow the engine!!!! Give it at least 2 oil changes before pushing it!

when i get mine installed, I'm gonna break it in for like 500 miles. Just to be safe. Then I will go into boost after it.

Which would be two very different numbers, 500 and 6,000 -10,000.

If you had a turbo that'd be somewhat easy. It's gonna be impossible, literally, to keep it out of boost during daily driving.

Wait, wait. The whole thing is, really to be safe is when ur s/c is installed just drive it like u would but not getting on it, in all reality the s/c does need to break in, just as ur motor would if it was new again. Not that it would blow the motor, it would blow the s/c if ur getting on it right away. and not giving it time to work itself in.

Well, since I don't always shift at redline I think it's possible. The S/C reaches max boost @ Redline. I get the fact that even some boost will occur, but I won't reach max boost for a couple hundred miles....

I dont think I like how the people that arent boosted are putting their 2 cents in on any of this. I can drive my car with no problems staying out of boost. Its really not that hard to do. I can run it to the rev-limiter everytime and make 0 psi of boost.

Well if your referring to me about not having boost. I used to have the supercharger so I know how it works. It was good while I had it but I got tired of it. So i know about boost. Now ive moved on to turbo... But anyways

How the heck can you go to redline and stay out of boost?

I was wondering the same thing... Kik, it doesn't make sense if the S/C reaches max boost @ redline...

Wow, there is no need to break it in. The supercharger has no idea if its new or not. There is nothing that needs to seat in like on an engine. Drive it enjoy it.
As far as times. I ran a 14.9 stock. And then a 14.7 modded.
