Air conditioning goes on and off, or sometimes not at all
Just wondering if anyone knew what could cause this. Here is the problem
The AC sometimes won't come on at all
Sometimes it will come on then go off and not come back on.
The little ac light, lights up when i turn the ac ****, but no AC.
My car is still under warrenty, i just want some idea of what could be wrong before I go so I know if they are trying to screw me over on anything. Thank you for any help guys and galz.

Hmmmm......sounds like u might need some freon. My dad's camry did this...just needed some fresh freon, also had to jump a sensor on the a/c compressor to get the a/c clutch to engage to circulate things....but this was on a 9 year old car......So I'm thinking you may have a leak, or a blown fuse, or the clutch/compressor on the a/c unit took a crap.
If you do alot of highway driving and use the a/c alot, then most likely its going to be u need to add some fresh freon or something kicked up on the road and punctured the a/c line.

I agree. The AC system in most cars is fairly smart. Its likely it does not have enough freon in it or a clog somewhere by something or ice from water vapor in the system. Soon as you hook some guages to it, you will know.
It basically uses pressure sensors, if the pressure is too low or too high it cuts off. FOr the most part normal operation it runs til it sees or senses too much pressure as the freon converts to a liquid and it shuts off while that is evaporated, then when enough of it is gone, it refires the compressor.
