Default Discount/America Tire Co.

Hey guys.

Does anyone know if Discount Tire Co./America Tire Co. price match to websites such as Onlinetires.com?

I know that they will price match it to www.discounttiredirect.com, because that's basically their online website.

Thanks.

I can tell you what the Discount Rep told me directly. They WILL price match the cost of the tire to any online website including tire rack. BUT, they will have to charge with mounting and balancing, what would be the cost of shipping and such. It ends up being allot more.

They pretty much make it to where you have to order trough them. I paid 617.00 to have my Azenis mounted and all that good stuff. With 4 road hazard warranties. If I would of brought in the tires it would of cost me 660.00, without warranty and without having the confidence that anything that happens to my tires, they will fix hassle free.

Ok, whenever you buy a tire trough them you get them with several warranties.

If you buy a new tire you recive a free manufacture warranty; this covers defects and problems that might of been caused during production.

Road Hazard/Free Replacement Tire Warranty; the cost of these varies from tires. Now, they will replace your tire if you get an unrepareable fix, up to a certain thread depth. After that they just give you a rebate on purchasing a new tire.

This is only offered on certain tires, and these are the 50-60 thousand mile warranties. These are very tricky and can often be disputed by the rep pretty easly if he wants to. Wall Mart have something similar to these to. Anyways, this warranty if supposed to cover your tire to last withing the given milage. The tricky part is that you have to come in for rotations and keep your recites. If the rep sees odd wear marks, or flat spots he can dispute this. Now if your tire wears before the milage you don't get a free tire. You just get a rebate on a new tire. Someimtes 20-40 dollars per tire.
