Default trd clutch

installed my trd clutch today....what a difference...i can bark 2/3rd gear on 18's....no more nasty mushy cheap clutch petal feel either.....i can actually tell where it engages now...trd clutch *thumps up*

ya the install sucks....the rear motor mount must be unbolted....not fun....then you gotta move the motor forward and pull tranny off.....more not fun....oh and putting it all back together....just super not fun

fyi: not a one person job.....and dont even think about doing it without a lift

hmmmmm...... I gotta tranny shop (that's for CARS, not mo's) next door and one down the road owes me a favor...... I like cool, expensive sh*t that absolutely no one will ever see ... lol

How much does it run to have the Clutch put in?

according to alldata 4.5hours....so shop labor rate X 4.5 hours = labor
most shops charge 80 an hour so $360 and you gotta resurface the flywheel $65
the trd clutch+disc i got it for $263 and the throwout bearing $35 at dealership
so total installed = $723

I wouldn't get your flywheel resurfaced... I'd get a lightweight piece... trd has one... kinda spendy, but if you do the work yourself, the money you save will offset the price of the flywheel

cool, theres a company right now working on the lighter flywheel. contact vividracing for the status of it

i was wonderign how good the trd clutch is. is it harder to push the clutch in now at all?
