I love those little PU trucks. I heard they are a pita to get titled for road use tho.

Not down here lol...go to any used car lot and you can score one cheap...easy to title down here and everything...this guy i see some days on my way to work has one painted yellow and it has TONKA on the front and the doors...

dont those things top out at like 40mph?

 

come to think of it...i have never seen one on the highway...but i would so own one and throw some bags on it have it laying frame in no time

 

I talked with an old guy the other day from MS that was fueling one at wallyworld. He claims that they get almost 100 mpg. I think they should be good for atleast 50 tho.

 

i think they have engines that are smaller than 1 litre so maybe...think some are running like a 936cc motor

 

well my work has some of these things. or at least little trucks that look JUST LIKE them. they are made by daihatsu and are 3 speeds. the 2 times i've had to drive it around it would be screaming in 3rd gear at about 35mph.

 

IM IN THE MILITARY AND WE USE THOSE THINGS FOR EVERYTHING THOSE THINGS WILL TO SOME HEAVY iSH LET ME TELL YOU AND YES THEY TOP OPUT AT ABOUT 40-45MPH BUT IM SURE YOU CAN MODIFY THEM TO GO A LOT FASTER, AND THE ONES WE HAVE ARE ALL 4SPD SO YOU CAN DO SICK BURNOUTS W/EM
