I currently have an '06 xB and will be picking up an '04 engine, transmission, and various other perriferials. My intent is to either add nitrous or otherwise increase perfomance on the already supercharged '06 engine and keep the '04 as a spare just in case, or to build the '04 and swap it in after an internal build, upgrading to a turbo.
Does anyone know what, if any, are the differences engine-side between model years? I know the ECU was rewired for '06, but were any engine sensors or things of that nature affected? I would plan on keeping the '06 ECU if all the engine sensors still mount in the same place between engine years and hopefully not need to cut and move any wiring.
