im 6'1" and ive test driven a few tC's now and even with the seat all the way down, and the back in a comfortable spot i cant quit slid my hand between the headliner and my head, and leaning forward to look for traffic at an intersection...forget it, i just hit my head.

im just wondering if this is a commin issure or not. the tC has a really low roof line. not that isnt a bad thing it just adds to its sexy good looks but im not sure if its for me now...

any input.

 

6'4 and have no leg or headroom issues. Only thing that would make me more comfortable, would be a telescoping steering wheel.

 

did you adjust the seat height? with the pump/crank lever..?...lol i'm 5'8" so head room is no issue for me, but i know of a few 6'+ drivers here that have no complaints.....i know the height adjustment can give +-4-5 inches....

 

yeah i know what you are saying... im' 6'2, 6'3 ish and if i kind of slouch... i can fit correctly in the car...it doesnt bother me so much once i got used to the seating posistion... the one thing that i still think the car is lacking is a telescoping steering column. that would make the seating more bearable i think.

jeeeeeez. I always had a hard time finding guys taller than me, guess I need to move to the east coast.

 

i'm 6'1", and i've never hit my head in the front seat of the tC.

Oh yea, the only thing I hit my head on, is the damn hatch. I need to get the shocks replaced because it doesn't lift itself...so it's always lower than I think it is.

Most people at first dont realize that if you push the lever more than once, the seat keeps lowering. They push it once and think the seat is bottomed out. From mid height, you should be able to push the lever down about 3-4 times before the seat bottoms out I think.

 

He's said it twice that he has the seat 'down' as far as it can go. I think he might just have the seatback inclined too high.

as for the height thing...hahaha i have a completely different issue since i'm under 5ft haha

6". no issues. but agree that it needs a telescoping wheel. and i too have trouble seeing a traffic light sometimes.

 

I'm 6'1 and my spiked hair is what hits the sunshade. But, my buddy whose 6'6 260 drove my car and let me tell you, THAT was a funny site!
