I just read something that if true would be very disturbing. Instead of starting over with the release series numbers for the xB2 they are continuing on starting with RS5.0. How do all the xB owners feel about this? Has Scion lost it's mind? Here is the link with the info I found.

i saw that before. but it still has the same name (eventhough it doesnt deserve it) so it makes sense to keep the numbers going.

 

i wouldn't want a gen2 RS4 out there they should keep counting. less confusion.

 

I see your point but I think the xB2 doesn't deserve RS numbers at all.

i compare what Scion did to the same thing Toyota corp has always done just look at the diff gen"s of Celica/supra's
same thing diff body style each gen so after 4 years we will see if the xB concept can go the distance or be gone like xA and tC

 

Nah, the xAs were ok and the tC hasn't really changed much yet so they are cool too. I knew the xB2s would prolly get RSs. It just hurts that they are continuing them off of the xB#s as if they are the same vehicle, just the next model year. Scion seems to be a love/hate relationship with me lately .
Why is the tC getting a 4th year of production yet the xB and xA only got 3 good years???

No one know for sure yet. But it is staying the same I think till atleast 09'.

 

I don't know about you guys but i dig the five axis kit a whole lot more than the Kenstyle kit they put on there.

Who cares what it's called? It's not like anyone would get the platforms confused...

I think Scion just wanted people to be able to say "I have a RS1.0 xB" and for it to be clear which one they were refering to.

 

I love my Box, and the tC is kick ___. But 2 door cars just annoy me... maybe its just me but i think they should add a 4 door to the family... but like i said... thats just me.

No the gen 3 bB in Japan is called the bB QNC and the modifies out Gen 2 xB to be the Toyota Rumion.

There is still a Toyota bB out there it just looks nothing like the US vehicles.
