Default Finally Turbo'd!!!

hey guys, im finally turbo'd. Ive been working on my zpi stage 0 kit all week and i just finished today. I only have two problems. One being that the oil pan leaks but im just gonna drill and tap my stock one which shouold def work.
My other problem is kinda annoying. Once my car gets like above 2 grand and then let off to stop at a stop sign, it stalls. It also smells like it running rich which im glad becuase lean is alot worse.

Can anyone help out on this stalling issue?

If u dont have any kind of fuel management the car might run a little rich and if u have a non recirculated blow off it will be richer than normal

90% of tC's on here run atmospheric BOV's.

Do you have a step 1 or 2 colder spark plugs borderguy?

Need to change to Step 1 or 2 colder spark plugs, this will help keep it from dying.

And imo, there is a reason why majority of the turbo kits are sold with HKS BOV. Cause they are the best at venting to the atmosphere.

everithing they said is true, none of my tcs are recirculated, i had that problem before i installed the ultimate. All the people that I know that have vented bov have little problems, nothing major.

hey cburg, where ya at? Ever see a green lowered cougar running around near home? I bet you live in the new development off stringtown or piedmont

Anyways, we took borderguys car out last night and it pulls HARD but when the WG opens, its LOUD (dumps to atmosphere..) and the turbo spool is delightful. RFL does indeed mean RFL..

When the car stalls (after getting out of vaccuum and into boost then pushing the clutch in is what does it), it smells rich as ____ and lights the fuel off in the exhaust making a very audible afterfire. Probably a tuning issue, or when that BOV vents metered air it has a moment of super rich condition which might be the stalling problem? I doubt it's any of the vaccuum connections, those are nearly perfect and we didn't see any leaks.

nah i live actually in germantown i just attend clarksburg high but nah cant say ive seen u reloded, honk if u see me i drive a nautical blue tc 08, and well u cant miss it ull hear my 3inch exhaust froma mile away, as for his stalling problems check the blow off for either leaks, or the circulation and about the poop rich that can be due to the blow off too or just as simple as needing an antifooler for the first 02 sensor cuz our cars especially 07 n 08 when that 02 sensor fails it goes into rich mode...and poppy rich the stage zero is possed to run safely off stock everything with out management so pig rich isnt how it should be
