dont' get it, 900 for a ____ty lip kit, are u kidding me? wait until better stuf comes out for the same price, even if all u want is a lip kit, there will be something much better and cheaper that doesn't look like it got ripped off the bottom of a corolla S

There is a decent change with and with out. I got them and I am pretty happy with them. Get anything too big and your car looks dumb.....plus, after you buy your oversized, overpriced, aftermarket kit then you have to get it MATCHED to the rest of the car. I'd assume all more than $900, right? I'm not positive......somebody know?

 

I have to Lip Kit for my tC also and love it. Everytime i drive down through school and the mall i get a lot of Looks from girls. If you know what I mean

 

what would you define as "____ty" and "better?" does the kit look good to me? no..would i buy it?no...but does that make it ____ty? i wouldnt think so..comes painted and its made of a durable material (most likely urethane, someone confirm this)..most lip kits would be either abs or fiberglass and those that are urethane (which would still need to be painted) or cf will be pretty expensive...another thing they can justify for high price is that the lack of other lips kits available

 

DO NOT GET THE SCION GROUND FX!!!!!!! I saw it in person yesterday on a black cherry pearl one and it looks so ____ty, get an aftermarket one or else you will regret spending $900 just to bend over and take it from Scion.

Well if other people's personal opinions are all that matter on this board,
then maybe the fact that several show car tCs at SEMA were using the
factory ground effects kit means that those of you who think it's ____ty are stupid.
If they used it in the shows, then obviously it's cool and there you go... that's
all that matters.

Agreee, Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but the money to kit ratio... doesn't quite add up to me, that just my opinion... i'd rather spend 900 on something else.

 

Then say that. Don't say, "invest is something else besides that worthless kit..."

Imho, 1000 is a nice price for a kit that matches the body, and is already prepped and painted to match and is installed by the dealership... not to mention is covered by warranty.
