Default What di yall do with insurance???

I was unable to find any insurance providers that could give me a quote for a tC??? They all had to base their quote off of a camry????? Did you guys have this problem?

Im with you...all the top name companies....and the small had to use the xb quote...they had no TC on file.
Its not just you. My car susposed to hit land the 24th. Im still shopping around for insurance and getting the same......replys and wait while the guy on the other end of the telephone tries to look for TC.
But ALL so far has placed it as a XB

well once u give them ur VIN number then it goes into there computer - and it wont be a camry and they can give u a quote - so go to a dealership pull the vin off the car u r looking at and call insurance - and there u have it a brand new insurance quote

vin no worky because they are not in the databases of the insurance providers. Progessive now has the ability to quote a tC but noone else does. It makes it hard to shop around for the best deal when you cant get a real quote from a company.

"Progessive now has the ability to quote a tC but noone else does.

Obviously that's incorrect because myself and many others not only got quotes but have insurance as well specifically for the tC. I'm through state farm.

Obviously its not incorrect because when I call and give them a vin they say its not in their database! Then they ask what kind of car it is and they say they only have the xA and xB in their database. I have called and talked to different people and still the same results so its not the reps.

i got my insurance through farmers and they used a toyota rate, but i'm not sure which one in particular. my policy says "make: toyota, model: scion tc." just tell you're company it's made by toyota and i'll bet you get a toyota rate.

I got mine through geico and they had it in their database the same day I picked up my car (8/31), but it is shown as an '05 Toyota Scion tC...same in my registration.

OK, so I'm just lying about how my car is insured? For whatever reason you are having trouble, but that certainly doesn't mean the companies, at least in certain areas, don't have the car in their database.

an Im just lying when I say they tell me they dont have a scion tC or a toyota tC or a toyota scion tC in their database? I never said that All companies everywhere cant give me a qoute. I said that when I call the 1800 numbers or do online qoutes for the big name companies they cant give me a tC quote except for progressive and they just where able this week. Last week that did not have a listing for the tC on their website.
