Default Turbocharged by Dezod West!

Well I finally got around to installing my new turbo kit from DezodWest last Friday. The install went pretty smooth I would say. Seemed like it took forever but after everything was installed the car started right up on the first try. So that was a good thing.

Joe from DezodWest installed this kit for me. I was right there working with him through the process though. We finished about 3:30am and then took it out for a test drive and a street tune by Joe and the car ran great. I used to have a supercharger on my car that was modded to 9psi with a custom cai and exhaust and this turbo kit immediately felt faster. We punched it going about 20mph and it just spun the tires through 2nd gear then hit 3rd and finally gripped.

I have the AEM FI/C for my ems and i also added a automatic transmission cooler and AEM A/F wideband gauge as well. Yes! My car is a turbocharged automatic!

I took it to get tuned at UMS Tuning here in Tempe, Arizona and the guy honestly could not figure out how to tune my automatic turboed car. He would put it in drive and floor it and it would downshift all the way to 1st gear then just take off. So he couldnt accurately tune it. He tuned the car in 3rd gear but he couldnt floor it until about 4500rpms which is why my dyno numbers are messed up.

I know for a fact that the car is pushing more power than the dyno shows because last night an evo rolled up on me. So had a little run from a 20mph roll. We both took off and at the start he got ahead about half a car length then my car finally got traction and i hung right on his tail the whole time. He didnt pull on me at all. And this was right after it had rained and my front tires are pretty bald. I am also running stock exhaust right now too so I can only imagine what would have happened with dry road conditions, new tires, and a turbo exhaust. All which are soon to come.

My car is running at 5psi also. So heres the pics of the kit and install and dyno charts:
Heres some videos of the car before it was dyno tuned. The first video was the last run of my car being N/A for a comparison

You should have your tuner do pulls from 2nd. I was a boosted Auto and they would do all the runs in 2nd gear. He didn't have any problems doing. kit looks great.
