I have an 8K kit so it's not like they're super bright like the 6K kit, on average though I get someone flashing their brights at me about twice a night. I try to react quick enough to flash mine back at em to show em they're being stupid.

How often does everyone else get flashed?

 

i've never gotten flashed... not that i've noticed anyway.

 

I have 6k HIDs and i dont get flashed at all. i used to when i took out my lamps, then replaced them incorrectly (the cut off line was off), but after i fixed that, havent had problems with other people flashing me.

 

I get hit once a month or so... I have them aimed pretty low...

 

I have had my 6k's for about a year now and have only been flashed once that I can recall. They are aimed at stock height as well and still no problems.

 

so they are the dumb ones for letting you know you are blinding them?

I dont like HIDs even when they come stock on cars

 

Never, I find HID's less blinding than poorly aimed halogens.

I didnt get HID's to ____ off people, I got them to see better when driving at night to which I have a bit of a problem and have for a while. With HID's I see much better when driving at night so i bought them for my mom as an XMAS present so she would feel safer when driving at night.

I flash my brights at people not mostly to ____ them off, but to show them that they are wrong and I'm not some mean person driving with my high beams on.

I have an 8K kit so they have some blue to them, I would think people are used to knowing what it looks like when someone is driving with HID's and when someone is driving with their high beams on.

 

Dude I still have factory lights and people flash me all the time.

 

i used to alot. it died down though.
