i got a ticket for 33 in a 30 shouldnt they be stopping rapists and doing real police work

Around my place, police never give out a ticket less than 5 mph over the limit, unless the weather condition was real bad.

3mph over the speed limit soundstoo harsh.

Were you on the 20's (and Ksport drop) when they pulled you over? Sometimes they just assume you must be guilty of a bunch of stuff, pull you over hoping for a big bust, then ticket you for anything they can; especially if they're disappointed that you weren't guilty of more.

 

^^ Same hear, I haven't been pulled over going 40 in my town. It's all about driving conditions and how curvy the roads are.

 

yeah and i have dark tint i kinda went off at him a little in the end i was like im probably going to loose my job cause of your worthless ___ and asked him dosent he have something better to do with taxpayers money

 

The cop was just a douche.....he tried to get you for something else and probably knew he couldn't so he pulled a speeding ticket .... what a jerk off

I know what you mean.....I dont know how it works in your state but i guess just pay it and the points so it doesnt show up in your records.....

Can you fight it? 33 in a 30 is pretty questionable.

 

Get a lawyer and take it to court. It should get dropped what an _______! I probably would have got smart too had he wasted my time for a 3 mph over speed limit ticket.

 

How much was the ticket for? Pretty sure that would be an easy one to win. Never heard of anyone getting a ticket for 3 miles over the speed limit. Odd.

 

Why should they work more than they have to when they have an easy ticket like yours, to give...

 

i dont know how much the ticket is till i go to court on the 3rd

 

if he (the cop) doesn't show, you gets to go. 3 over should be an easy one to get away with. the judge will even think he's a dick. just dress nice and keep your cool. that S*&T will buff out.

It was only a matter of time. The more you do to your car, unfortunately, the more it attracts wanted/unwanted attention..

i've heard this before but I dont believe its true. At least in MA, most of the time the cops dont show up. a friend of mine told me he had to talk explain the situation to a judge and then he decides what to do.

 

Umm... We all knew that he broke the law. We just dont think 33 in a 30 is excessive or dangerous.

 

I know, and i also think that. Usually you can get away with going 5 to 10 over, unless you find an a**hole cop like he did,and for that,i am sorry.
