tenative new member of the family
My wife and I adopted a new dog yesterday, his name is Axel, a one year old English Bulldog. I say tenative, because he has exhibited aggressiveness towards Gracie a couple of time. We are hoping that he will settle down in the coming days, if not, a friend from work will take him, here are a few pics...

yeah one day or two is not anything to judge.
you have to know the k9 aspect of a dog. one will try and get dominance over the other one. with any dog you will see this. i would suggest buy kennels for both dog. yes this is humian for animals. kennels are like a dogs safe haven kind of like the bed the dog is sitting on is a type of safe haven. they have to have thier own space. when trianing do not put the dog in the kennel as a type of scolding. make kennel time a form on sleep or nap time. works like a charm.

Oh, he is crate trained and sleeps in a kennel, plus has a bed in the living room to hang on that is his alone. We know he is getting used to the new home and a new dog. He has his toys and Gracie has hers, but you know how it is, they always want the others, not theirs, lol. We are not in a rush to get rid of him, going to give him time.
on a side note, we bought a bark control collar for my wifes yorkie yesterday. I have to say we got a good nights sleep. I also have to admit I laughed my a$$ off when he went into the kitchen to start his nightly yapping and I heard him YELP and consequently knock over his bowl of food. He came back into the bedroom and we didn't hear a peep out of him for the rest of the night.
Shock collar FTW!!!

Snores??? He sounds like a freight trian, lol. He and Gracie are getting along better each day, he is learning his place, and Gracie is giving him his space. Shirley is takine him to the vet today for a check up, but all his shots are done, neutered, and licensed. Need to check and see if he has a chip, if not, going to get that done. He is solid and in good shape, and very loving.
dude i want that dog LOL ive been asking my gf for her to let me get a bulldog but she said that they are ugly and slobber all the time.. How much did he cost you to get or was it free.
My wife got him from a girl she works with, they had to move and couldn't keep him, had him kenneled at the humane society and was looking for someone to give him a good home, wife snagged him up for free, the girl paid a grand for him a year ago.
