Well, I didn't make it to the show yesterday, but, KK won third place wild and best paint and Chris won first place xB, thoughs are the ones I know for sure, congrats guys.

no no no... thought it was 5th place wild i won.... trophey just says 'runner up' but thought it was 5th place

but yeah.. best paint too.... funny thing is Cory could say my name perfectly fine to me when talking.... but soon as he tried to read it off a piece of paper... he messed up

 

I had 5th there at first but then Robbie said 3rd, so I edited the post.

I thought it was 5th too.

 

Either way kk, congrats on your wins... You deserved them (specially the paint one)

yeah.. was surprised i was in "wild" ... but per Chase... paint automatically bumps up to wild

They put me in wild too because of paint. So I told the dude it was stock

That was good of you jason to tell them it was stock 'cause I know there are scion owners out there that claim it's a custom paint color (not here in the NW) at shows and judges who don't know the car won't know the difference either.

huh.. weird.. think with Chase being there as a judge he coulda sorted that out w/o asking....he knows tons about the scions...being a former owner and all.... oh well..

Im here... yes i made it home... two tires later lol. i think you could have poshed a blunt object right through the side of that tire..... not cool.

Any body in the portland area should hit up bob brown tires!!!

They opened up the shop on sunday just for me and knew exactly how to work with custom wheels (unlike les schwab!!) id still be in portland if not for Kelly!

ouch sorry to hear about the tire incident. for tire mount and balancing. what about car nutz? they do some very nice work

 

i know the guys at car nuts and ill say that there some of the best at what they do, but there not exactly in portland on sunday morning on presidents day weekend.

 

eh.... just move stuff around in your car so you drove on 3 of 4 wheels at any given time then good to go ....lmao j/k glad you were able to get hooked up
