Max2k 11-14-2004, 09:09 PM Ha. It's cool, I just wanted to post the ramp pics. Berticus 11-14-2004, 09:12 PM Looks and sounds good :D TJandBOXCARWILLIE 11-14-2004, 09:58 PM Great for those who need that. Thumbs up. Placebo 11-14-2004, 11:05 PM think of all the kewl things you could do with that box. Moving business perhaps? Or maybe shove a crap load of old people in the short bus. Possiblities are endless and me likey. bamabug67s 11-14-2004, 11:14 PM Thats tight!!Imagine how much easier loading the kegs of beer would be :D Really though it's great to see a vehicle that can be easily equipped for those in need. Can you purchase one through Scion like that? TJandBOXCARWILLIE 11-15-2004, 02:55 AM Thats tight!!Really though it's great to see a vehicle that can be easily equipped for those in need. Can you purchase one through Scion like that? My late step father in law, Dr. Drew Batavia, was a quad. And he had a Dodge Caravan that was equiped like that, so I know how the door works. It's rather heavy, first off. Second, it costs a lot to do. I know at the time he got the Dodge it jumped the price to $28,000, and this was about ten years ago. So today, it would be a lot more, I can only guess. I think it's a great idea, and am pleased to see it. But now that I think about it, I wonder how the SCION engine handles the extra weight. And how/if they kept the cost down. erichlf 11-15-2004, 03:20 AM They have a lambo door kit for the xB, but I can't remember where I saw it. Also the same place has a suicide door kit. erichlf 11-15-2004, 03:21 AM here it is http://www.andysautosport.com/products.php?id=Sc04xB&make=Scion&mcat=Exterior&scat=Accessories hotbox05 11-15-2004, 04:20 AM wonder if those are for the front or rear doors Max2k 11-15-2004, 05:33 AM By far my favorite part of that car is the fact that it's rollin' on 17s. The disabled can still floss rims. I believe scion gives out a $2000 credit for disabled access. K9_Crate 11-15-2004, 03:59 PM veey kul! If you look at the Scion.com site they have a whole section on the mods scion will do for easier entry/exit of the car. One thing you may be interested in is the swiveling front seats. They can mod the front seats to turn out and I believe move to the side as well for easier access. Sounds nice to me! Fujiz_xb 11-15-2004, 04:40 PM looks good..man the xb is the car |
