stock tc is about 142hp at the wheel, you might get about up 150 hp at the wheel.

injen cai intake ~8+ HP

HKS HI-POWER AXLE BACK
MEGAN RACING HEADERS
MEGAN S-PIPE
MEGAN MID PIPE (all together ~20+)

lightweight pully ~10+

Those are the manufacturers claims. 38+HP is BS.
If you installed all of those components you would free up maybe 12-15 wheel horsepower.

Go with the pulley first. Its the best bang for the buck.

I work for Toyota so you are hearing this from a good source when I say this isnt only with Scion but when a dealer posts the specs of a vehicle ( i.e hp, torque) they post the CRANK hp. not the wheel hp. The CRANK hpof the tC stock is 161. Now in terms of performance and racing, CRANK hp means jack. Ground hp is what matters most (the amount of power being delivered to the ground before the tires loose their grip) The stock WHEEL hp or GROUND hp (w/e you wanna call it) is about 140-144.

I was so interested to see how much I had with all of my upgrades, and went to a friend of mine and did a dyno, said I was doing about 194whp. I was hoping for it to be more....

See above question, is it possible to do more than 250whp in a tC with stock motor? Or would I need to get a small V6 block and fit it in there? Ive seen it done on 2 tCs (06, and 0, and they ran beautifully. No space for S/C, but stilll pushed out more than 270chp, and like 253whp....

So... yeah....

dropping a V6 in the tC=major work and big time cash, If you want to get more out of it go for a 9.5 pulley, or build the block, or go turbo.

9.5 pulley? Please explain...

and what needs to be done with building the block? Cams? Pistons? Overbore? Injectors?

Let me know, im trying to create a beast here... :-D

9.5 pulley is a different pulley for your supercharger, if makes more boost then the stock one, thus more power, There is a thread in forced induction,

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=210888[/url]

As far as building the block, i'm sure theres lots you can do, You would have to talk to someone who knows more about FI then me to figure out your best bet though.

Im pushig 233hp (yes, Ive got the dyno readout to prove it) at the wheels, and my 1/4 mile is 11.122secs.

I have also remapped the ECU-EMS to have a better performance layout and power curve.

So bull____ that its only 5hp extra for all that.

My fault for not putting it right to begin with. Though it doesnt change the fact that the tC can do it.

Capitol: A Z06 runs a 10.877 1/4 mile, i dont know where you got your info. Ive seen the S.o.B do even better than that when worked on.

JP: I get the fact you wish to NOT get it. You just dont want to hear that someone actually knows what they are doing with the same car as you. Maybe you want ME to educate YOU?

you could be doing anywhere from 215-235...but Im not a human dyno so its highly possible to be a bit more...but You shouldnt ever be doing below 215 to the wheels
