So I have always wondered this but never asked...I cant believe no company has made a mid spoiler for the xB, like the spoilers on the Civic EK hatch's from the 90's that is just below the rear window...maybe someone makes one and I have just not seen it...does anyone know anything about this..

I wonder if EZ would be able to make something like this now that he is getting into the eyelid and FFF scene...i bet quite a few people would like to rock an "EZ RTF" (rear tail finisher)

what do you people think??? am i the only one???

I think a midspoiler would look really goofy on the 1st gen.

I think it would work good... I was wondering that myself . It would only be there for looks but so is anyspoiler or performance part we put on these cars.. but make it 3 piece and work it into the the body lines on the side..... I may be making one soon. If you make 1 before i do, keep me posted.....

I think a midspoiler would look really goofy on the 1st gen.I agree! The rear is just too straight and flat for that spoiler. Maybe someone can do a photoshop?

Couple of pics of the Suzuki Wagon with a mid spolier here: http://www.clubxb.com/forums/f29/10697-spoiler-under-rear-window/

kind of like it...it could be set up to follow the body lines on the side and i think it would look cool

I think a mid spoiler would look great on the xb. A one piece spoiler just under the window nothing wrapping around the sides. Heck I even formed one up from cardboard to get an idea of what it would look like. But thats about as far as i got in making one. Still think its a good idea and would love to see one made.

I'd buy one if it was the right shape.

Yea, I mean they're your cars, and you should do what you want, but that's the single ugliest thing I've seen since the Evo5 kit.

Do what you like, but that black box looks like it has a table mounted to the trunk.....

But the smaller one looks better (still sh@tty, but not as much). Which leads me to another idea:

The smaller the wing, the "better" it would look IMO, although "better" is relative.

I wonder if the bmw spoiler would fit? dimensions?

On the hatch/roof, or in the middle of the hatch?

I know there are some threads on here. Guys were using them in place of where the spoiler usually goes, on the roof/hatch. Subtle mod that looked real nice IMO.

I beleve that 1.5" had to be trimed off either end to make it flush with the hatch. Some just let the excess material hang over onto the roof.
