Here are the terms I've gotten okayed.

Retail Price : $995.00 + $150 for shipping (Totals $1145.00)

Here are the terms/pricing for the GB:

The GB is over

Terms:
A minimum of 12 Kits must be ordered at the same time to acheive the GB price. Longo will be ordering 5 kits (maybe more if the GB is just slightly off target) to help out, so only 7 members are required to participate to get the price.

The listing below shows those who expressed interest in participating, but no commitment yet. The listing at the very bottom of this post are those who committed to participating. We will need a solid count and will not perform any transaction until all 7 (or more) participants have all provided shipping/billing information. Once the total of the first 12 are received, the GB pricing will stay open for 2 weeks. After that, it will return to retail pricing.

Note: If more than 1 kit will be shipping to the same address, there will be a slight reduction in the shipping price (around $80 off the the 2nd and each subsequent kit, but I'll get an exact price reduction quote for you once I'm given the information). So if some of you live nearby each other, it would be recommended to have the kits shipped to one address. The kits would be shipped in 1 box though.

Q & A

What does the kit include ?
The kit consists of 4 pieces: 1 front lip, 1 rear piece, 2 side skirts (1 per side).

Are individual pieces of the kit available for purchase ?
No, not at this time.

Is the front grille available for purchase ?
Not at this time, but the interest generated on SL has triggered Five Axis Design to research the cost of production. The current one seen on Longo Scion's Five Axis Design SE tC is a one-off grille. The front grille will have a separate thread in the future if Five Axis Design chooses to pursue production.

How much for local pick up (shipping) ?
These kits are shipped from the manufacturer to each location. No local pick up will be available unless you don't mind taking a kit that's not in-box. Since bulk orders (2+ kits) will ship in a single box/pallet, there will be a slight savings (estimated at $80, but will differ slightly based on the situation).

How much for local pick up (tax) ?
Due to the tiny profits, I will not be able to assist with tax like I usually do :doh: The reduction in price from shipping (the question above this one) offsets the tax quite nicely... so yea. Not too bad, right? :P

Which payment options are available ?
I will be doing credit card over the phone as the most typical form of payment.
If you would like to use Paypal, I don't mind, but I would require a 2% increase to help compensate for the Paypal fees ($957.67) and a verified address.
Check/Cash is also ok if you're local. :P

is that a flat honeycomb design or is it like the stock grille. idon't like the stock grille because it holds water after washing the ride. picky i know, but it suck when you just dried that spot, then have trickles of water steady coming out.

The front kit is not available by itself at this time. No plans have been announced to sell the kit piece by piece, but it has not been completely shot down either. There is still hope for it, but no guarantees.

yeah i feel ya, don't me wrong though; i def. want the kit to be a success, i just don't want to see it as often as i see the OEM or the RS1 kit. that said i know a lot of folks don't want to put the money up for it, though the quality is better and imo it's the sweetest kit out (body or lip). :clap:

That is correct. The final orders would have to be placed by April 3rd. I do need a heads up to ensure the kits are reserved under this purchase price. Everyone should be thanking the original 12 (7 SL members) for making it happen though :bow:

Wow that is definably nice. I wanna replace my 60 with a 250 sometime in the near future. I'm just glad that I have one with the discontinued emotion chip so I can play my PS2 games reliably. Awesome, awesome Dude! I picked up my kit last Sat and Jeff told me the box wouldn't fit in my car. And he was right: it was a HUUGE box! Anyways, he was really cool about it and with a wave of his magic hands and a few spell encantations he was able to arrange a personal delivery to my house. About an hour later, POOF! A longo pickup was out front! Thanks man!!! (psst, aside from the cool autographed toy car, he also gave me a sweet Scionlife.com plate frame 8) even though he only had a few avail.) but if they're replacements then they're no actually over the stocks right?? b/c they "replace" the stocks, so wouldn't that mean that the stocks have to come off if they need to be "replaced"????

Sorry for the confusion, I didn't mean literally "over" the stock ones, but a direct replacement over (versus) the stock ones; so yeah you have to take out the stock (besides you need a mounting piece from the stock to be put on the 5axis in order to install it). Sorry for the consusion :P

I am always flexible on slight extensions (as is Five Axis).

PM a time frame to me and I'll see what I can do. I don't mind pre-paying a kit that will sit in their warehouse for direct shipment, but I won't be able to do that w/o getting my arse handed to me @ work, lol. I can likely do it for 2-3 kits.

Let me know and I'll check to see if management is ok with it.

Five Axis does not want to part out the kit at the moment. I cannot part out the kits either (bosses won't let me). I will guess that the front lip will be available separately in a few years (probably mid 09), but I could be wrong.

do you think theres a way though if 2 or 3 people buy the kit as one sale, but just ship the different parts of the kit to diff people? IN a way its still parting out, but still selling the kit as a whole.

Our Five Axis spec tC was lowered in Hotchkis springs (about 2" drop) and it still had good clearance. The Tein is a little bit more aggressive, but shouldn't cause a problem.

will this kit have any issues with the oem fogs?

It clears the factor fog lamp (lower grille) w/o a problem. The VRD "corner" fog lamps also clear (I think), but I'm not 100% certain.
