Default My tC is gone . . .

Yep, she's officially sold as of today. I've had a great three years owning my tC, but the time has come. Today I handed the keys over to the new owner. I know the car will be in good hands as the lady who purchased the car is actually one of my tellers at work. So I will still get to see the car every day! So if you see it driving around, I told her she might get the scion wave!

As for what I am getting . . . I've always wanted a BMW. I absolutely LOVE the stylings of the E46's and after much research I found that I wanted a 330Ci with the performance package. It had to have a few requirements: 6speed, black interior, leather, heated seats, and '04 or '05. Even with these few must haves, the cars are rare. I only found one in the state of Washington! The girl who owned that car couldn't make up her mind whether she wanted to sell it or not ( despite it being on AutoTrader ) so I had to move south. I found a gorgeous one in California! Signed the papers today and hopefully I'll have it in my possession within a week, whether it means having it delivered or flying down to drive it back. Here's a couple pics of my new car:

I'm sure I'll still be on here from time to time. The scion community is like nothing I've ever experienced before so it would be hard to just walk away!

It was kinda sad! It's almost like I was giving away my child or something! I ordered the car from Toyota of Puyallup so I've always known where every scratch or flaw came from! It's bittersweet for sure!

And yeah, I'll have to watch my speeding now since the new car is red!

Thanks for the congrats!

Ha ha . . . no, no parts to sell. The new owner wanted the car exactly the way it was which made it easy for me!

We all know that SW is the best color!!! I wanted the BMW in white, but the closest one I could find was in New Jersey! I heart white cars!

Yeah, I really want to have it shipped up here. They checked into two companies that they use and trust and it would have been around $800. They're checking with a few other places that other dealers recommend to see if it can be done any cheaper. They don't just want to throw the car on a some no name guy's trailer though which is good that they seem to have the best interests of the car in mind. I can fly down for free and my husband's sister lives in Sacramento ( the car is in LA ) so it would be gas and food which would be considerably less than $800! But yeah, I'll be rockin the blue painters tape!!! Thanks for the advice! I need to make a note to put tape in my carryon!

Thanks to everyone else for their compliments! I am rockin a purple PT cruiser until I get my car so it's going to be a long wait!!

Yeah I was really wanting the 135, but I priced one on the BMW site and it was just too spendy, even without the expected dealer markup. But I plan on driving one when they come out! When I roll up in a BMW, the people at the dealership might actually talk to me!

Heh yeah that is true. I priced one out a few days ago and had to take a good gulp. Still though it's a start for those that want to get into the BMW level but not spend 40k to do so (unless you price it out fully...)

Driving a BMW to any dealership will always have somebody come running up to you.
