Do the blue led lights match well with the clock / cd player? From the pics i saw at scion.com, it just didnt seem like they woudl go together.

 

amber and blue go together well..i learned in art 101 is that they are complimentary colors or something..my deck has blue lighting and it matches quite well with the clock and gauges

 

I don't honestly think they would, being LED's. Light is different from paint; the primary colors aren't even the same. Blue and white LED's are the most intense LED's in the world, and would stick out like a sore thumb from a neutral amber glow of the gauges.

I have the blue light kit, and it kinda clashes with the lights from the clock and gauges. It's not bad however, but I'd rather like to see blue or white gaugues.

 

I say if you have soldering skills, or if you know someone that does, go with that to match the underdash LED's. OR, wait for the glo gauges coming out, though I don't know how well electro-luminescent (EL) blue matches LED blue.

 

In my experience, 3 inch neon tubes match Reverse Indigo gauges best. I love whiteface gauges, but there's no way I'd put a set on, what with the HVAC and radio being orange....
