I foresee a Dezod S1 Kit in your future, buy it now as there is a group buy going on! You won't regret it.

get either the Turbo Toyota's Simple series kit, or get the backyard brawler kit even... both will yield a lot more power and they are both real affordable...

Turbo seems to be the way to go if you want to blow up your motor. I have been looking over the past few days, and it seems most of the "oh my motor is blown what do I do" threads are turbo related. At least when the supercharger craps out its 250 dollars to fix and your back better than stock.

I haven't seen that many threads, I have seen Paul's(Anurok) thread. but turbo is the way to go if you want power, many people have been boosted for tons of miles and nothing has happened, some few miles and something has happened. its a coin flip. but get a good tune, take care of the snail and you should be alright.

While this is true, the supercharger has a warranty backing it, at least during its "problem-matic period". Its really hit or miss with either. I just see too many issues with turbos being on a DD and too many issues. The TRD S/C runs fine no matter what the weather is, it can be 18 degrees out or 95 degrees out, it still runs fine. Try that with a turbo and you better have 2 tunes ready. I think its much less work and time and money involved if you supercharge.

yep those turbos sure look tempting... but like i said

that supercharger is definitely is calling me out, BUT when i have the funds disposable, im sure i would have done enough research to chose from the 2.

but you people let me know what you have and why you love it
would help much!

I have the supercharger becuase its different. There are 2 others here in georgia that Im aware of that are S/Cd. An Azure peal driven by some pregnant chick (_____) and some one in South georgia thats got a ZPI 9 pound pulley. While turbos on the other hand.... Where do I start? My roommate has one, one of the guy in Scinergyie, some kid we ran into @ Barrett (Where people hang out). The point is that no one has the superchargers here, and I like to be different. Plus I got mine for 1300 shipped. Couldnt pass that up last summer.

ok...
since ur in cali, im gonna recommend going supercharged just so you can remain quasi-street legal depending on the supporting mods you get with it...
me personally, i love my s/c setup and i have 220whp and 211 lb/ft of torque with just a catback exhaust, s/c, 9 lb pulley, and custom CAI setup...not bad for a total of 2300 dollars...an 80whp increase. But i do recommend getting the upgraded bearing/seal kit from kikcaffeine who posted a couple of posts up...u need better bearings for the supercharger if you want it to last

hahah. I am in the process and the parts are sitting in my spare room. I'll be revving safely to 7500 and loving it.

I would stick with the stock pistons.

NO. You need Low Comp. pistons with boosted applications. Unless your planning on being a honda and reving out to 9k N/A dont go w/ high comp.
