Anyone else think its weird to say that you own a car that really isn't in production anymore, well the box style anyways. No offense to the xb2 owners but when people ask me where I got it I tell them they don't make it anymore, which makes it more rare in a manner of speaking in my book, because the new xb is nothing like ours!
it just makes me watch the other drivers on the road a little more beacuse if my box gets hit, its gonna be hard replacing it...probably get a wrx if that happens though :-) but hope it doesnt cuz i love my box

considering its a fairly new car that was made for a few yearsm stopped for a few months than went to a new body style. Makes driving the car more special and the looks people give it are awsome.

Not a big fan of the last comment-there will be a lot of them in bad situations over the next few years with accidents, damages, use, etc which will limit them somewhat and there were only 177,000 total made.
The thing that gets to me is there is not a car like ours anywhere.
A WRX and an EVO are close enough to be somewhat enterchangeable. Camry, Accord, Sonatas etc are all the same basically. The FIT and the slightly older generation Civic look close enough to each other. The new xB, HHR and PT Crusier LOOK similar enough (not nearly the same otherwise)
There will always be cars that were around for a short time that look like nothing else (63-67 corvettes, Lancia Stratos, Lotus super seven-caterham, original vw beetles, etc) and that is what makes them cool. Our cars will never sell for a million $$ but the fact is they will start to dwindle in visibility and that is when the good looking, well kept ones will become something special.

not only that^ but how many car owners are as passionate about their cars and the care taken in modding them, as well as share an online community with others with the same keen interests and want to help each other out? No where in the world, so i agree with greybox, that comment Creepin on Chrome made, was slightly ignorant, I mean compare it to the civic which I'm sure has about a million production models from over the years, and of course I stand behind the statement of our car being the only one like it anywhere.
All my cars I've owned were out of production or almost out of production when I bought em (got my malibu in 02 and they ran threw 04) and (xB got in 10/06 production ended in 12/06) but all my other car were way old when I got em.
It not so rare cuz most cars are redesigned every few years or so.
