I'm trying to see if I'd be able to put other type of foglights so I'd like to know how do you take the temporary plastic filler out....

Tamago 02-03-2005, 01:42 PM xA? xB? if it's the xA, just grab onto the plastic cover with pliars and pull! Cockpit_XB 02-04-2005, 04:47 PM For the XB you might have to lift the car up & pop it out from behind im thinking, if not try using a falthead screw driver to pop that sucker out. ILLER__ 02-04-2005, 04:54 PM just get on the floor and push out them from behind the bumper... Fridion 02-04-2005, 05:21 PM Yes there are two tabs, one on each side. Push them towards the center slightly and there you go... peterbilt 02-04-2005, 06:17 PM Yes there are two tabs, one on each side. ProjectD 02-07-2005, 05:48 AM ^^^^^ how did you wire it exactly, I have fogs that I want to put in my car but I have no idea on how to wire it up. peterbilt 02-07-2005, 01:22 PM ^^^^^ how did you wire it exactly, I have fogs that I want to put in my car but I have no idea on how to wire it up. the kit i bought came w/ wiring. so i went w/ it. punched thru the big rubber gromet on the firewall at the drivers side (there's a big bundle of wires that go thru there). ran the wires behind the dash and up thru one of the knock outs. flex tubed everything - i mean everything - right down to the lights. it really was easy. if you don't have a wire kit, it's just a hot, neutral and a ground. i think the wiring was 14G - perhaps 12G, about 10 feet of it. hope that helps. 8BALL 02-07-2005, 02:12 PM Wally-World has fog light wiring kits. It comes with a relay, switch and all of the wire you need. You dont have to lift up the xB and you don't have to use a screw driver. lay on the ground reach behind and undo tabs. Takes less than a minute. :lalala: |
