I had a "Solara" one on the car for about 2 and a half years. The finish was fine. The black paint started to fade a little though. The "etched" version (top one) would be resistant to fade since it's just an etch :P

My friend got his car tinted there and didn't notice for about 3 months that his personal frame was gone. I had to point it out and laugh it up :rofl:

It's made of ground up soul dust of the "Type-R" and "GT-R" following (not the legit Type-R/GT-R folks... the fake ones, like the Mustang V6 GT-R and the Type R Corolla) ;)

But in all seriousness, the custom metal plates cost a bit more than the plastic ones (which were likely available for around $5.-$10.)

:doh: That was a reflection (my mistake for not realizing, lol). I might be able to get the custom gold one made, but it won't be in that shade. It would be the typical gold you find on license plate frames.
