Hey guys I have that same grill and yes it does only mount on the top. I modified it so that it could have billet inserts and made it mount way better than how it came.
It was made of fiberlglass an the hold for mounting on the top were off and needed adjustment. Had to redo the holes so that the gril would mount straight. And making mods to put billet inserts in was a bt??h and even making the billet part of the grill was a bit??h..

how do you like it since it only mounts at the top? would you prefer it to mount top and bottom?

I had to make the mount on the bottom to be safe but after putting the billet inserts in the grill got heavy and had to make a more solid mount. other than that I think the mounting holes at the top is fine but im just anal when it come to my car stuffs.

great thanks for the info. i think if you didnt add the billet backing it would have worked without the bottom latches.

maybe if the mounting was dont with a screw type fastner instead of a clip, i would feel more secure.

it easy to add the bottom mounts. just use some small squar plastic tube that can be bought an any hobby shop. I use aircarft grade eposy to fasten it to the grill but I think JB weld or epoxy would do great.

thats true, but not everyone is as knowledgable or as creative as some other ppl. do you think it would be better if the grille was made with it already?

Yes It wold be easier if the grill had it on already. But I guss thats why it was 40 bucks for the grill.. I mean if I had made it it makes no sence to make tihngs not to perfection. I rather charge more than have people talking crap about the product.
