Default KillerGlass Opinions

So i am thinking on adding some killerglass on for upper cooling hose, now what color do you think would look best, red or blue..here are 2 pics of my engine bay, one in the day, and one at night with the LED lighting i have installed turned on:

Red! The blue is only visible at night, so leave that as your LED color.

I dont mean to be off subject but it looks like you have a Optima battery in your tC. Yours is a yellow top and the auto place put a red top one in mine. They said the yellow top one was for smaller motors and not for cars and trucks.

Oh and my opinion on what color for that on your car would be red for sure

thank you i like the red, and as for the battery, it was recommended to me by the shop that installed my sound system, that the yellow top is better to have for those who have a good sound dystem

the red top optimas are designed to be a superior replacement to the common car battery.

the yellow top optimas on the other hand are a deep cycle battery, its designed to hold a charge for a longer time than your standard car battery. its a great choice for people with juiced up car stereo's so they dont kill the battery.

Deep cycle batteries are good if you like to listen to your system with the car off like at a car show. Red top charges faster and is better for everday car audio. Sorry its true.

SquallLHeart, he makes the glass in blue and red now too. Plus you can add the lights to it.

ahh.. yeah.. i've seen different colored glass... and obviously led colors..

but a majority of what color it'll turn out to be in the end is the coolant.... so unless he's perhaps planning to get blue coolant... uhh.. yea? *shrugs*

to clear up the confusion about the heat shield, the first pic is a current picture, the other was taken when my heat shield was off getting ceramic coated..and yes SquallLHear you are correct the coolant is a pink color, so i am not really sure how this is going to look

IDK, with that much light coming from under the hood already, it'd be hard to say. I think a red tube with pinkish/purpleish coolant and blue lights would probably shine purpleish. I say just do the red tube and leave those lights off. The blue from the other LED's would light it up enough.

tCvirus, if your looking for pink, just do the clear tube with the pink fluid that's in there now.

My coolant is blue! (I did a full flush when I installed my radiator hoses and put BMW coolant in)

i am going to be getting the blue killerglass, then swapping out my pink cooling fluid w/ blue BMW cooling fluid..because if i do red the high powered blue leds in my engine bay will distort the red color not making it look so hot..and i have conducted a test on a friends car and the blue is very visible at night even with the engine bay leds on at night that he has..and as for the strut bar that will stay red, to give my bay a bit more contrast

Yeah bmw coolant = teh shizzz. That looks really clean. If you get an extra led, do they put it on the other end? it kind of looks lopsided because of the light only coming form one end... Seeing this makes me want to do it more no tho too! haha.
