you need the trd supercharger reflash to run the supercharger PERIOD! when you put on a 9.5 psi pulley, it doesn't need another reflash, the trd tune is still safe.

if you have the S/C installed, you have already done the reflash. You don't need to do it again.

OMG seriously!

DO NOT SWAP ON THE 9.5 PULLEY! IF THEY HAVEN'T INSTALLED THE TRD SUPERCHARGER BEFORE, THEY COULD HAVE DONE SOMETHING WRONG, AND IF THEY DID, AND $H!T HITS THE FAN, YOUR ARE S.O.L.! BECAUSE THEY WILL JUST INSTANTLY VOID YOUR WARRANTY BECAUSE OF THAT 9.5 PSI PULLEY, AND THE TAMPER PROOF/EVIDENT CAP/BOLT.

so if you want my advice, leave the supercharger alone until you know they installed it right, and it is running properly. if they botched up the installation, it won't matter because you automatically void your warranty if you modify anything having to do with that supercharger, including but not limited to: pullies, bypassvalve system, and intake housing.

i know they already bent me over and took me for a ride. they voided my warrenty because of my header so im kinda out of luck because of it. this is my 2nd one. the seal broke inside and was blowing oil into the engine and they told me it was gonna cost 826 to fix it even though the problem started when i first got the car. i have only had it for 2 months and they voided my s/c and they said toyota might have voided the whole car warrenty but i dont know if thats possible because of a header and then i had to pay 40 to have them install the origanal header back on. so yeah i have no s/c warrenty so thats y im putting on the pulley.

They can't void the warrenty until something goes wrong with the car; and even then the burden of proof is on them to prove that your modification is what caused the problem.

Good luck with that.

In most cases the Manusson-Moss Act would prevent dealerships from denying warranty work due to use of aftermarket parts. But if you read the paperwork that comes with the supercharger kit, it states that certain modifications will void the warranty on the s/c (this is also covered under the Magnusson-Moss Act, where the warranty claims can be denied when use of certain parts is expressly written in the warranty that it will render the warranty void).

True story if your blower is broken you can send it to me, and it will get rebuilt with better parts than OEM, stronger bearings and better seals for way less than 800 dollars. LOL.
